Father-Daughter Duo Discuss New Album on TODAY
Country music singer and songwriter Rory Feek shared an adorable photo of himself and his nine-year-old daughter, Indiana, on Instagram on Friday. In the photo, Feek is seen affectionately hugging Indiana, who is smiling and looking up at her father.
The photo was taken during a recent visit to the TODAY show, where Feek and Indiana joined host Hoda Kotb to discuss Feek's latest album, "Gentle on My Mind." The album, which was released in February, is a collection of covers of some of Feek's favorite songs.
During the interview, Feek spoke about his close relationship with Indiana and how she inspired him to write the song "God Gave Me You." He also talked about the challenges of raising a child with Down syndrome, but said that Indiana brings him more joy than he could ever have imagined.
The TODAY show appearance is just one of many ways that Feek has been promoting his new album. He has also been featured on Good Morning America, The View, and The Kelly Clarkson Show.
Feek is a two-time Grammy Award winner and has sold more than 10 million records worldwide. He is best known for his work with the duo Joey + Rory, which he formed with his wife, Joey Martin Feek. Joey passed away in 2016 after a battle with cancer.
